SECRET Je T'Aime Vintage " I Love You " In French Seven Diamond Two Part Hinged 9k Gold Double Band Ring

Here is another uncommon vintage ring with a little hidden secret!
This clever little thing serves as a reminder that you are loved, as you can shift it while on the finger to reveal the movable hidden band underneath that is stamped "Je T'Aime" which is French for "I love you."
While on the hand, it appears as a seven stone diamond band, which also has significance in that seven stone rings are often used to represent love seven days of the week (or all day every day).
Such an awesome fabrication, the back of the shank is single and smooth but the top half has the additional hidden band with just a little rivet hinge on each side. So it is not detectable until you give it a little slide to reveal the band underneath. As mentioned, this can be done while on the finger and does not need to be removed to see the message of love. You can just shift the diamond set ring face back and forth over the underlying band.
Such a fun conversation piece!
Despite the message being in French - UK hallmarks for 9k gold. It is also stamped .25 which I am assuming is the total carat weight of the little diamonds.
Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it is difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box not included.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 5 1/4. 2.6mm north south at the ring face, the diamonds are small. It weighs 3 grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Completely sturdy and stable, the two sides can move while wearing since it doesn't snap or latch closed. This is just how it was made. Some surface wear and patina. Diamond are all quite frosty pretty much all the way through but small, so really more noticeable under magnification and just for a glint of sparkle. Always recommend a gentler hand when dealing with tiny gold moving parts! : ). But this one is quite sturdy and I had no problems or concerns wearing it.
The diamonds DO have a good sparkle, lively even in ambient light. It was quite dark today when I took the video so it does not do it justice.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
