Swirling Art Deco Milgrain ANTIQUE Old Mine Single Cut 28 Diamond 14k White Gold Ring Eternity Wide Band Wedding
ABOUT:
Gorgeous old cut diamond eternity band with 28 stones amidst milgrain, openwork and scrolling details. I Love mixing metals in my ring stack and this is the perfect chunky stacker for such a thing as the 14k white gold layers beautifully with rose and yellow gold as well.
Substantial footprint on the finger with flat edges beautiful for layering.
This Art Deco era antique band is decorated with milgrain edges to the alternating settings holding the old mine single cut diamonds with pierced details to add more ornateness and texture to the piece.
No hallmarks remain, sold to me as 14k and tested to confirm.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6 1/4
6.2mm north south
Weight: 4.2g.
The diamonds are each 1.5 to 2mm. Difficult to estimate carat weight as their exact measurements and depths vary but definitely over half a carat.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Surface wear as expected for age. A bit of buildup behind the small diamond settings which contributes to their warmth a bit. Some inclusions and frostiness under magnification but the stones are small. The piece has an overall white color and a wonderful sparkle so no glaring issues. Little bead prongs to the diamonds though so I always recommend gentler wear on my antique pieces.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
