Antique Linear Old Cut DIAMOND Dangle EARRINGS 18k Gold Romantic Gift Something Old Bridal
I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!
ABOUT:
Beautiful antique dangle earrings, each holding a row of old single cut diamonds leading to the larger transitional cut diamonds that dangle freely off the bottom. Crafted in 18k yellow gold and topped in white gold - The settings are illusion settings in that the white gold prongs widen out underneath the stone to make the stones appear larger. The bottom two stones are attached by loop so they can dangle independently, they are so lovely to wear.
Art Deco era pair of earrings that I found in Switzerland. So romantic with the buttery antique gold and the old cut diamonds. But with a still relevant linear look.
Classic and easy to wear ear wires that appear to have been an edit from the original piece where the ear wires were affixed at a later date but they appear to have always been earrings.
No hallmarks but sold to me as 18k and tested to confirm.
Would be a beautiful something old for a bride.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Some of my buyers draw them out to get an idea of scale.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
They measure about 25mm top to bottom. The pair weighs 2g combined.
The largest diamonds at the bottom are each about 3.7mm, around .2 carat each alone and then there's 6 additional smaller diamonds on each earring.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Typical antique diamonds with natural inclusions and some frosty spots. They are small so this is not very evident. They have a lovely sparkle and coloring.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
