Antique Elongated Old Mine Cut DIAMOND Ruby Pink 18k Gold Three Stone Ring Stacker Band Victorian Pinky Midi Engraved Knife Edge Shoulders
I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered one piece at a time from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!
ABOUT:
We love to find sweet little details on our Victorian rings like these. This one has an elongated little old mine cut diamond in the center flanked by two pink rubies. The 18k gold setting has a knife edge where the two sides come to a peak, each side beautifully engraved with little ornate touches.
Fun to layer and stack, its smaller size makes a lovely pinky or midi ring as well.
No hallmarks remain, tests at 18k and looks the part.
Antique box is not included. Please note the detailed measurements that I always provide, as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures where I am required to show zoomed in detail.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 4, Weighs just 1.9 Grams.
Ring face is 4.9mm north to south.
The diamond is about 3.5mm north south.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Both rubies have small abrasions and nicks but still a nice polish overall and color, slight different hues between the two. The diamond is typical for the period with a few natural inclusions, a warm crystal and another crescent moon shaped smaller one - nothing glaring and no dark black carbon spots, the stone isn't huge so it's not super noticeable. Each ruby has one worn prong and is held in place by the other three but gentler wear usually advised on these pieces over 100 years old.
Beautiful setting.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
